The H Residence is a mixed-use development in Al Safa, Jumeirah, conceived to redefine urban living through a low-rise, community-focused model. Replacing a long-established retail destination from the 1980s, the project combines high-end retail and food and beverage programming with 37 residential units in a human-scaled composition that integrates with the surrounding neighborhood. At its core is a 1,800-square-meter public plaza, designed as an accessible civic space around which apartments, townhouses, and hospitality venues are organized to maximize connectivity, visibility, and everyday social use. The project’s public-facing character, supported by internationally recognized operators, transforms the site into an active destination while preserving a strong relationship with local urban life.
The architecture is defined by the interplay of a sloped central plaza, two arched building wings, and a 30-meter residents-only sky bridge that links the development and hosts a rooftop infinity pool with panoramic city and coastal views. The sloped ground plane enables greater volumetric efficiency, improves circulation between entry points, and enhances privacy for ground-level townhouses while maintaining direct access to shared landscape. Residential offerings include two and three-bedroom townhouses with private outdoor areas and first-floor apartments with deep balconies for shading and privacy. Vertical façade louvres further optimize daylight control and thermal performance, reinforcing an approach that combines climatic responsiveness, contemporary urban density, and high-quality communal space.
